Databases
Transmitting the museum collections into searchable databases is still in progress. The databases are thus not complete as concern the number of items presented.
Entomology
General insect database
In addition to the lists of insect families, a database version of the included material has been created. Due to technical reasons, the most updated version will still be found in the lists. The database includes data encompassing more than 53,000 taxa and 2100,000 mounted specimens.
Type database
So far, about 3,500 species have been registered, and the total amount
of species represented by type material is estimated to be more than
10,000.
